Dear Famous Five Fans,

Thank you for checking out my web site!  I hope you like it!

When I set out to make this site, I didn't realise how much interest there would be and have been surprised at the amount of visits I get!  I suppose it is because there are so few dedicated Famous Five sites out there.

I can promise you I will work hard to keep this site interesting and informative.  I have lots of plans for the future so please check in again soon.

I get really annoyed when people dismiss the
Famous Five (and much of Enid Blyton's work) as sexist, racist and not "politically correct!"  The books reflect a time in British history where morals and family values were more important than they seem to be today!

The Famous Five have survived the test of time and I think, as we enter the next millennium, their value as pieces of important literature will finally be realised.
